The beauty of Japan’s nature has been celebrated over the centuries by Japanese writers and artists and recently by tourists from all over the world. However, the nature of the Land of the Rising Sun, especially by foreign tourists, is often idealized under a light of harmony and serenity that is totally different from reality. Japanese nature is also violent and impetuous, as demonstrated by the frequent natural disasters of earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, floods, typhoons, etc. But perhaps it is precisely its dangerousness and its often terrible nature that makes Japan’s nature so unique and extraordinary.

A series of three summer meetings in July and a meeting-celebration of the beginning of autumn curated by Floriano Terrano together with the Blow Up Photographic Club of Maranello. After the inauguration of the photographic exhibition “Japan: Autumn Enchantment” with the concert featuring the voice of Tomomi Ezoe, there will be a refreshment of sake and Japanese culinary products.
