“Odo Camillo Turrini: the emotion of being warriors of light.
The beauty of a journey that is in our daily lives and that is revealed to our spirit through the intense and precious work of an artist capable of creating wonder.”

With the patronage of the Municipality of Maranello

Odo Camillo Turrini, born in 1954, was in contact with the most important Italian ceramic schools, including Faenza, Vietri, Caltagirone, Montelupo Fiorentino and Deruta. Gradually, from the combination of manual technique and aesthetic expressiveness, his style develops, initially figurative, then, gradually, more abstract. 2004 is the year that sees the sculptor begin his public career. Turrini begins to exhibit his works of art, participates in numerous public events and organizes personal and collective exhibitions, first in Emilia-Romagna, then in galleries and institutional locations located in Italy and beyond (Rome, Verona, Udine, Trento, Ferrara , Como, Florence, Parma, San Marino). What characterizes the artist is his mastery of various ceramic techniques: from those using over-glaze colors to the ancient and refined Raku technique. Typically Turrini makes few drawings, working directly on the clay sketch: the initial idea, the intimate image from which each work arises, in fact, comes to life in the sculptor’s hands in an almost immediate, instinctive way.
