40 years have passed, as the title of one of the events says, on the wings of the wind, but the memory of the ‘flying Canadian’, in everyone, fans, enthusiasts and more generally the people of engines, is strong and more rooted than ever.
The myth of Gilles Villeneuve does not die and the emotion, in remembering his death, which took place just 40 years ago, still fills everyone with emotion.
To pay homage to an absolute protagonist of world motoring of all time, the Municipalities of Maranello and Nonantola, thanks to the contribution of the Modena Foundation and the support of the Municipality of Modena, are promoting a great event entitled “Omaggio a Gilles Villeneuve, icona senza tempo, a 40 anni dalla scomparsa” which for two months or more will propose a series of events dedicated to the pilot also nicknamed ‘the aviator’.
Meetings with witnesses of the time, exhibitions, presentations of films and books, themed menus, artistic performances and other surprises that will not fail to amaze and excite visitors and tourists who will travel to the two territories involved.
