Ready to Read – Maranello Legge is an invitation to discover the pleasure of reading and share this passion with others. A project designed for everyone, from children to adults, to intrigue and encourage reading, with creative workshops, themed games, meetings with writers and illustrators, animated readings and creative writing workshops, books for all tastes and reading challenges.

Friday March 14 at 9 pm

Guido Catalano Solo reading
The most famous Living Professional Poet in Italy, Guido Catalano, arrives at the Mabic in Maranello with a new and special show: a solo reading where poetry will not be missing, with the great warhorses that have now become true classics of the love genre: verses for lovers and for “innamoratesse”, to make people fall in love and to fall in love.

VR Experience (virtual reality)
A multisensory immersion with VR for an experience that, starting from the technological tool, goes beyond literature in the traditional sense.

Creative writing workshop
How do you write a podcast? What do you need to take into account? What are the phases to take into consideration? A full immersion with Jonathan Zenti to analyze the writing of one of the most current information tools

Reading Party
Turn off your cell phone, disconnect from chat and social media. Concentrate on a text in a comfortable environment: soft lights, pillows, plaids. The goal is to share a moment of silence and quiet, which clashes with the chaos of city life, dedicated to those who need a suspended time, to immerse themselves in a story or simply to observe
You can bring a book from home or read a book or other material from the library

Writer and radio author, she has worked for a long time for Radio2, where she dealt with cinema, music and entertainment. She is the author with Michela Murgia of the book Morgana, Storie di ragazze che tua madre non approvarebbe and Morgana.

Book Cooking with Ilaria Bertinelli
“In 2010, Gaia, my daughter who was only 6 years old at the time, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and celiac disease. This was the beginning of my ‘second life'”. Ilaria Bertinelli’s cuisine is a tool for disseminating gastronomic traditions and food awareness that highlights that food is the most effective way to take care of ourselves.

Stardust
Show for kids with Alessia Canducci and Federico Squassabia

The show features the artist’s book of the same name Stardust published by Orecchio acerbo in 2024, written and illustrated by Hannah Arnesen.

Stardust is a book that breathes: it blends philosophical and existential questions, scientific knowledge and poetry, and immerses us in highly evocative images; it portrays the climate crisis by taking the reader on a journey through the past, present and future of the Earth.
Recommended for ages 13 and up

Stefano Corradino
A writer and Rai journalist, Corradino, inspired by Calvino, Fortini, Eco and Rodari’s Cantacronache, presents his Note di Cronaca. From the story of Ilaria Alpi to that of Federica Angeli: positive protagonists who fight for the protection of human rights and against the mafia.
