Installed in 2017, the artwork created by the Municipality of Maranello’s master gardeners expresses the centrality of Ferrari in the world of motorsports. The world is shown in stylised form, with the lines of latitude and longitude forming a kind of chequered flag in black and white grit, alternating with squares of lawn. The composition converges on the central part of the flowerbed which contains the famous Ferrari symbol: the prancing horse, carved from a single tree trunk, which extends over and almost embraces the front of a 360 Modena model Ferrari. The perfect opportunity for a group photograph!
It would also be great to go and see the Structuration F1 artwork, with a visit to the fascinating Ferrari Museum to follow.
