Sculpture “Il mio Mondo nel Mondo”

Scultura_Carloni_Omaggio_Enzo

The artwork “Il mio mondo nel mondo” [“My World within the World”] was created by Swiss sculptor Franco Carloni and donated to the town of Maranello by the artist to commemorate a man of extraordinary achievements: Enzo Ferrari.
The Prancing Horse town thus recalls the company’s founder through a sculpture, a work of art that celebrates Enzo Ferrari’s spirit and his entrepreneurial and human vision.
The work was unveiled on 27 September 2013 at the entrance to Parco Enzo Ferrari in Maranello (via Matteotti), with Piero Ferrari, Enzo’s son and Vice President of Ferrari spa, and the artist both present. The sculpture was formally blessed by Don Sergio Mantovani, the Modenese priest who serves as the racing drivers’ chaplain.
