A journey through a century of history of the Italian folk dance par excellence: ballroom dancing.
A multi-ethnic orchestra, composed of some of the most representative musicians of the ethnic, classical and jazz scene, revisits, with rigor and ruthlessness, the melodies and rhythms that have made entire generations of Italians dance, from the classical echoes of Carlo Brighi to the band atmospheres of the Cantoni concert at the jazz openings of Gorni Kramer, without forgetting the ethnic contaminations of the regional, Bolognese variants and the Romagna sounds of Secondo Casadei.
An opportunity to rediscover the suggestive melodic system, the instrumental virtuosity, the fascinating timbre combinations and the most hidden and seductive aspects of this musical genre.
