In the presence of Dr. Rita Paparella, nuclear engineer, former researcher in particle physics, business consultant for innovation and R&D, automotive journalist.
The exhibition, visible during the opening hours of the Mabic, is proposed on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (11 February) promoted by UNESCO and the UN to celebrate the role of women in the scientific and technological fields and to disseminate a culture far from stereotypes, promoting ethical and respectful communication.
“Women and Motors? Joys and that’s it” is a photographic exhibition that portrays women who have distinguished themselves in the institutional, professional, personal, social and cultural fields. The project was conceived by Elisabetta Cozzi, founder and president of the Fratelli Cozzi Museum and is an initiative of the Friends of Museo Fratelli Cozzi association. Photographer Camilla Albertini immortalized the 40 testimonials: with her artistic gaze she portrayed the women aboard the cars in the museum collection, bringing out the identity and charisma of the protagonists.
