The staging of Hamlet inside the Prison House of Castelfranco Emilia closes the Shakespearean trilogy created by the Teatro dei Venti as part of the projects in the Prisons, after the Julius Caesar with the actors of the Casa Circordariale of Modena and the radio drama on Macbeth, recorded with the voices of actors from both Institutes. The plots and interests of the characters of the tragedy unfold in the dark setting of a dark and austere Elsinore, in a black building, made up of stairs and floors that intersect with each other until they merge. This is how the court appears from outside, corrupt and treacherous, by which Hamlet is disgusted. In there the characters chase each other in a fast-paced rhythm, plotting and agitating. But until the Theater bursts into the court. Theater and actors then become weapons to hunt down consciences, to shed light on every deception. Weapons to get to the truth or something similar to it.
